The
origins of the "Cooperativa" can be dated back to 1924, when the School
for Mosaic of the Institute Of Fine Arts in Ravenna was established,
according to the then director's will, V.Guaccimanni.
In
the first postwar period the Group of Mosaicists of the Institute
Of Fine Arts (1948) was established, Salietti being its director.
In
1976 it definitely shifted from the Institute and set up in the present
association.
Recently,
in order to improve its activity in this field, it has acquired a further
qualification, it has become A.R.L. company, registered at the Chamber
of Commerce in the builders register.
In
its staff, just not to remain in anonymity, there are prestigious collaborators
such as : A.Racagni, Cottignoli, E.Casadio, Perpignani under the direction
of the current president Santi.
Its
activity covers a very field, having job orders which start
from the creation of restorations in the most important Italian towns,
to the production of mosaics on important contemporary artists' cartoons,
to that of copies for people fond of the art of the past. |
